Museo Nazionale del Cinema

The Museo Nazionale del Cinema in Turin is a unique film museum housed in the impressive Mole Antonelliana. The museum offers its visitors an interactive tour through the entire history of film, from the first shadow theater performances to modern special effects. It is considered one of the most important film museums in the world and is the only one of its kind in Italy.
The exhibition is arranged in a spiral on several levels and offers a fascinating insight into the world of film. The glass panoramic elevator is particularly attractive, offering visitors a spectacular view over Turin and the surrounding Alps.
Admission to the museum is free with the Torino Card. You will receive a discounted ticket for the panoramic elevator. Reservations are strongly recommended.
Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum (Museo Egizio) in Turin is one of the most important collections of ancient Egyptian art and culture outside of Egypt. It houses over 32,500 objects, of which around 6,500 are on display. On four floors, visitors can take a fascinating journey through the history of Ancient Egypt, from mummies and sarcophagi to statues, jewelry and papyri.
Special highlights include the statue of Ramses II, the burial objects of Kha and one of the world's largest papyrus collections. Following a comprehensive renovation, the museum now also offers modern exhibition techniques such as 3D films and multimedia stations.

Royal Museums & Palace

The Musei Reali in Turin are a museum complex in the heart of the city that offers a fascinating journey through the art, history and culture of Italy. At its center is the magnificent Palazzo Reale, the former residence of the House of Savoy, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. Here, visitors can admire the magnificent state apartments, the imposing throne room and the royal apartments.
The complex also includes the Sabauda Gallery with over 500 paintings by famous artists, the impressive armory, the royal library with over 200,000 works and the architecturally unique Shroud Chapel. Another highlight are the extensive royal gardens, which invite visitors to linger.

Palazzo Madama

Palazzo Madama is a historic building in the heart of Turin that invites visitors on a journey through different eras. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the palazzo combines architectural elements from the Roman gate to the medieval fortress to the Baroque masterpiece. The museum houses over 70,000 works of art from the Middle Ages to the Baroque period and offers visitors a unique insight into Italy's artistic and cultural history.
The palazzo, rebuilt by Filippo Juvarra in the early 18th century, is centrally located in Piazza Castello and is easy to reach.

Automobile museum

The Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile in Turin is a museum for car lovers and history buffs. The collection includes over 200 original vehicles from 80 different brands, offering a unique journey through time from the steam carriages of the late 19th century to the design masterpieces of the 1950s.
Opened in 1960 and completely renovated in 2011, the museum exhibits cars not only as technical objects, but also as cultural testimonies that reflect society, fashion and innovation. Highlights include historic models such as the Bernardi from 1896, a Rolls Royce Silver Ghost from 1914 and numerous Italian classics from Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Ferrari.
Admission is free with the Torino Card.
La Venaria Reale

La Venaria Reale is an impressive royal castle north of Turin and is considered the second largest castle in Italy. The monumental complex comprises 80,000 m² of buildings, a 60-hectare castle park and a 3,000-hectare nature park. Originally planned as a hunting lodge in 1660, it was redesigned in the Baroque style by architects such as Filippo Juvarra and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.
Highlights include the magnificent Diana Hall, the Great Gallery and the Humbertus Chapel. After extensive restoration work, the palace was opened to visitors in 2007 and today offers not only historical insights, but also contemporary art exhibitions, concerts and events. Visitors should allow at least three hours to see everything.
Admission is free with the Torino + Piemonte Card (the card is valid for the "All in a Palace" ticket). A discounted ticket can be purchased for the shuttle bus that connects Turin city center with the Royal Palace.
Basilica di Superga

The Basilica di Superga is a Baroque masterpiece that towers high above Turin and offers visitors a breathtaking view of the city and the Alps. It was built between 1717 and 1731 by the famous architect Filippo Juvarra and was the fulfillment of a vow made by Duke Vittorio Amedeo II after the victory over the French in the War of the Spanish Succession.
The 75-metre-high basilica with its imposing dome is not only an architectural highlight, but also an important historical monument. Inside, artistic frescoes, marble sculptures and the crypt with the tombs of the Savoy dynasty are impressive.
Visitors can easily reach the basilica on the historic cog railroad and visit the six chapels, four altars and the main altar.

Juventus Museum

The Juventus Museum in Turin is a modern, interactive museum that offers soccer fans a unique experience. It was opened in 2012 to mark the club's 115th anniversary and showcases the glorious history of the soccer club across 1,500 square meters.
Visitors can explore the museum and the Allianz Stadium on a combined tour that lasts around two hours. Highlights include interactive exhibits with virtual reality stations, touchscreens and an extensive trophy collection. The bilingual museum (Italian and English) offers audio guides in four languages and provides insights into changing rooms, media areas and exclusive stadium areas.

Villa della Regina

Villa della Regina is a magnificent Baroque palace in the hills of Turin that offers visitors an insight into the history of the House of Savoy. Originally built in 1615 by Prince Moritz of Savoy as a vineyard villa, over the centuries it developed into a popular residence for the queens of Sardinia.
The UNESCO World Heritage Site impresses with its elegant architecture, artfully landscaped Italian gardens and breathtaking views of Turin and the Alps. Inside, visitors can admire magnificent halls with frescoes by Giovanni Battista Crosato and Corrado Giaquinto as well as valuable Chinese cabinets.
Admission is free with the Torino Card. Reservations are mandatory on Sundays and public holidays.
